Often, yes. Bare timber, bare metal and new render usually need a primer so the paint bonds and lasts. Dan checks the fence on site and picks the primer to suit each surface.

Yes. With the right prep and primer, a fence can go from dark to light or light to dark. For a shared boundary fence, talk to your neighbour first.
